ASHTABULA – Rev. Deborah Ann Green, 59, Pastor of Rainbow Council of Hope died Friday, May 25, 2012 at the Ashtabula County Medical Center.
She was born May 4, 1953 in Ashtabula, the daughter of Glenn and Betty (Powers) Alleman and had been an Ashtabula resident most of her life.
She graduated from Ashtabula High School and earned a teaching degree from Lakeland Community College.
Deborah worked as a home health aide for several organizations, primarily Priority in Perry, OH and also served as the Pastor of Rainbow Council of Hope for many years. She was also a graduate of the Ashtabula Police Academy in 1983. She enjoyed singing and was instrumental in providing an annual free Christmas dinner to the needy of Ashtabula.
Her survivors include her son, Robert (wife Sarah) of Ashtabula; three grandchildren, Hannah, Anthony, and Louis; four brothers, Chris (Mary Ann) Alleman of Ashtabula, Steve (Susan) and John Alleman, both of Rock Hill, SC, and Ron (Marie) Allemen of Florida; three sisters, Barb (John) McGoye of Rock Hill, SC and Glenna and Sharon Alleman, both of Ashtabula; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A service will be held 11 AM Monday, June 4, 2012 at the Greenlawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, 3140 E. Center Street, N. Kingsville, OH. Rev. Kenneth Roberts, Pastor of the Pentecostal Church of God, will officiate. Burial will follow.
Calling hours will be at the chapel Monday from 10:30 AM until the time services.
Contributions may be made to the family in c/o the ZABACK-DUCRO FUNERAL HOME, 500 West Prospect Road, Ashtabula who is in charge of arrangements.
