ASHTABULA – John Leland Craven, 18, of Coppell, TX passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012 unexpectedly at the Ashtabula County Medical Center. The son of John W. and LeAnn (Redenius) Craven, he was born on October 19, 1993 in Dallas, TX. He was a great friend to many and loved by all who knew him. John is survived by his parents; grandmothers, Laura Craven, Patricia Redenius; aunts Rae (Michael) Buckey, Rebecca Scrimager, Kathleen (Joseph) Bachman and Krystie (L.D.) Moore; uncle, Mark (Jennifer) Craven; great-uncle, Randall (Lou Anne) Craven; great-aunt, Clara “Skippy” Gammon; three best friends, Stuart Taylor, Makenna Taylor and Lindzee Rodd; and many cousins across the country. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ila Crawford; grandfathers, John M. Craven, Leland Redenius and James Crawford; great-uncle, Adrian Craven. Services were held in Ashtabula. DUCRO FUNERAL SERVICES AND CREMATORY, 4524 Elm Avenue, Ashtabula is handling the arrangements.
