Brenda F. Randolph ANDOVER – Brenda F. Randolph, 72, died Monday July 2, 2012 at Andover Retirement Village with her loving husband Lyal at her side, just as he has been for twenty-two years. The daughter of Leo and Florence (Ucker) Schermer, she was born February 15, 1940 in Cleveland, Ohio. On September 30, 1989 she was untied in marriage in Seven Hills, Ohio to Lyal, and they had celebrated twenty-two years of marriage. Brenda was a collector of dolls. Her love of dolls began as a child, she had a large collection of paper dolls and from there Brenda’s doll collection grew. Many weekends were spent with Lyal going to flea markets and antiquing. She would get excited when she found a hidden treasure in some one’s cast-offs. Lyal taught her how to fish, and she became very adept at finding the ” best fishing spots”; fishing gave her many hours of quiet enjoyment. Brenda will be remembered for her quiet ways, her deep love for her beloved husband, Lyal, and the strong, dignified way she faced her battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband, Lyal; sister, Donna Bradfield of Parma; brother, Ronnie Schermer of Hamilton; niece, Dawn Sidoti; and nephews, Nathan and Tyler Thomas. She was preceded in death by her parents. Graveside Services will be at 2:00PM on Friday, July 6, 2012 at Monroe-Kellogsville Cemetery, 5578 South Monroe Center Road, Conneaut, Ohio, Rev.
