Jerry A. Terrill

Jerry Allen Terrill, 74, passed away unexpectedly at home after suffering from Parkinsonís disease for 18 years, on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 in Tucson, Arizona.
He was born July 20, 1943 in Conneaut, Ohio the son of the late Vincent and Elizabeth (Quirk) Terrill. Jerry graduated Valedictorian from Edgewood High School Class of 1961. He graduated from Case Western University Sum Cum Laude in 1965, and went on to graduate from Harvard Law School in 1968. He married the love of his life, Noriko Arai on November 26, 1975.
After law school, Mr. Terrill worked as a corporate lawyer specializing in corporate law, tax law, and corporate merger. He then taught Law at Cleveland State Marshall School of Law for three years. He worked for Wall Street Law firm, and also at Gersen and Ackerman law firm in New York City for many years. Most recently he served as the lawyer for the Parkinsonís Disease Foundation in New York.
Jerry was a very cultural man and enjoyed traveling the world with his wife. He was always fascinated by architecture. He played the oboe for many years and the piano, and found peace listening to classical and opera music.
Jerry is survived by his wife of almost 42 years, Noriko; sister, Linda (Al) McEndree; and nieces, Suzanne McEndree and Colleen McEndree-Tribble; as well as a host of extended family members.
Mr. Terrill is preceded in death by his parents; and aunts, marge Newhart and Vera Terrill-Coccitto.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 1PM at the Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 500 W. Prospect Rd., Ashtabula, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Michael Merando, officiating. Burial will follow at Edgewood Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM at the funeral home.
